Leading us to India

My husband and I had a great opportunity to go on a missionary trip to India
I will tell you a little about how God lead us there

After a lot of praying and fasting about where the Lord wants to send us on a mission
God has opened up to John that we have to go to India

For me, it was just unrealistic and impossible
We did not have any finances and I couldn't just drop my job and go, because we all have bills

We waited patiently, we tried speeding up the process but nothing seemed to be working out
Gods thoughts, ways and plans are not ours (Isaiah 55:8), they are even better than we can think or imagine
We prayed that if it’s from God to open that specific door so wide that we can see
yet to shut the one that was not and that is exactly what He did

At times it was really hard
many times I would question God, “I am trying to do this for you
Why are all these things in the way? Why don’t I have peace with my family? Finances?” I was losing hope
The amazing thing about God is that He works in such amazing ways that astonish me
God has showed me that He had a perfect, unique plan, planned out for us,
to teach us, mold us and to prepare us for the missionary trip
I will be honest with you, I encountered similar situations in India as I did at home
and only then I understood why

Let me tell you that His timing is perfect! We waited for our visas for over a month
and we hoped the waiting time would only be 2 weeks
God knows best and He gave us the opportunity to get finances and move into our new residence
(which would not happen if we left right away)
I can write so many testimonies of how God brought us there and
I will share in another blog entry about our trip to India

super excited to be heading out to India

A huge thank you to every single one of you

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers
We greatly appreciate everyone who contributed financially
and for offering great ideas for the fundraisers
Thank you, for those who spiritually uplifted and encouraged us
You are constantly in our prayers and He will repay and bless you greatly
(Proverbs19:17)
God is so good and his blessings are so substantial and wonderful

Be blessed my friend and don’t forget that for each and every one
God has a different and a unique plan

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

"When we consider the blessings of God—the gifts that add beauty and joy to our lives, that enable us to keep going through stretches of boredom and even suffering—friendship is very near the top."
